         Points to NOTE on BACKUP:
      1. – Try to avoid restoring apps backup using Titanium Backup. It may break things up.
        – Don’t restore system data using Titanium Backup! It will definitely break the current installation.
        – It is also discouraged to Restoring Apps + Data using Titanium Backup.

      2. Upgrading from earlier version of Moto E CM14 Nougat ROM:

    How to Root Lenovo A6000

    Root Lenovo A6000

    This method is tested and working on lenovo a6000 LOLLIPOP FIRMWARE

    BIG CREDIT FOR SEVENMAXS for his TWRP image!

    So let's get started:
    1. Download the kingroot app from play store and run it.make sure to have a stable WiFi/data connection because it is needed for kingroot to root our devices properly.
    2. Download the twrp HERE I used the 3.0.0.1 ver. And extract the file "recovery.img" inside the zip.
    3. Download flashify app from playstore open it and flash the recovery.img!
    4. After successful flashing reboot to recovery then BOOM! You have TWRP!
    5. CONGRATULATIONS AND ENJOY!

    Sailfish OS 2.0.1.11 Port For REDMI 2




    The Alpha release was experimental and was not meant for the general public, but still recieved an overwhelming response. This new Beta version is free of most bugs encountered earlier and is suitable for everyone to get a taste of SailfishOS on their phone.
    Read the installation instructions carefully.

    Sailfish OS’s heritage lies in Nokia times, especially in the MeeGo operating system. Prior to 2011 Nokia and Intel had a vision of an open mobile operating system. Together they invested around 1 billion USD to the project and created an open source based operating system called MeeGo, which was used as a basis for several devices, such as the iconic Nokia N9. Although the Nokia N9 became the beacon of open source operating systems, Nokia decided to end the project and chose instead to continue with Microsoft’s Windows Phone OS. The rest of that is another story.

    SailfishOS has now been successfully ported to Redmi 2 and here I am sharing the steps to install it on your phone.
    1. Disclaimer: Your warranty is now void. You will lose all your data on your phone and may render it unusable. This software is provided as is without any warranty of any kind whatsoever. The user shall solely be reponsible for any consequence arising out of following this guide. I, or anyone else shall not be held responsible for bricked devices, dead sd-cards, thermonuclear war, you getting fired because the alarm app failed or any other consequence of following this guide.     3) SailfishOS zip file.

    1) Boot to recovery. Wipe cache, dalvik-cache, system and data.

    2) Copy the Downloaded files to the sdcard via USB.

    3) Install cm-12.1-20160318-UNOFFICIAL-wt88047. Do NOT reboot after installing.

    4) Install SailfishOS zip file. The installation will take around 10 minutes so don't think that its stuck. Ignore any errors about being unable to mount data partition.

    5) Reboot System when installation succeeds.

    Notes-->

    1) This is not an Android ROM. Android apps will not work right now. But a way for Android apps to work is available but will take quiet some time before it gets on our device.

    2) Root access (using devel-su in terminal) requires a password which can be set in Settings>Developer Options.

    3) For advanced users, you can ssh into the device after setting a password in Developer options using ssh nemo@192.168.2.15 over USB.

    4) Do not register for a Jolla account. You will get an error about failed IMEI registration. This will be fixed as soon as Jolla allows ported devices to be registered.

    5) The Store will not work. It needs a Jolla account. You can however use the openrepos warehouse for installing apps.

    6) MTP over USB does not work.

    7) Battery drains faster if screen is ON. Better than alpha but still needs improvement.

    FM-Radio -->
    You can play FM-Radio now but it is experimental.
    Plug in your headphones and launch the PirateFM app for radio.
    if it won't start, open terminal and use "harbour-piratefm" to start it.
    Once the app starts, it should show a frequency. If its stuck at 0.0 MHz, then close the app(close, not minimise) and restart it again.It should show a frequency now. If you have echoing audio in the headphones, i.e. you hear your own voice in the headphones, then open terminal and " systemctl restart --user pulseaudio" and then try running the app again.
    FM will not work through the speakers, and it also cannot be muted.

    Lenovo A6000 PORT Rom For Redmi 2

    ----------Redmi 2/Prime Vibe UI 2.5 Lollipop Custom Rom-----------

    Vibe Ui 2.5 is a custom rom based on stock lollipop 5.0.2 Vibe UI rom for Redmi 2/prime. The rom has many deep features of Stock Lollipop roms with few additions and enhancements. The vibe ui 2.5 rom is smooth and faster than the stock lollipop rom and has features like auto screen lock wallpaper changer, yes it does changes the lock screen wallpaper itself. The transitions and response rate is quite faster than the stock lollipop rom and most of the features which we tested are working flawlessly. For installing this rom, you will have to first upgrade to Lollipop if you are on any kitkat based rom. If you’re on any lollipop based rom then directly flash it using TWRP recovery. So download and install Vibe UI 2.5 custom rom on your Redmi 2/prime/

    How to Install Vibe UI 2.5 Custom Rom
    Step 1 : Copy the Vibe UI 2.5 Custom Rom  in your SD card~

    Step 2 : Boot into Recovery
    • Switch off your device
    • Now press VolumeButtons + Power Button together for 2-5 seconds until you see the twrp recovery
    • Connect the USB to your PC/Laptop and then flash TWRP recovery.
    Step 3 :  Make full wipe including “system” (data, dalvik, system, cache)
    Step 4 : Now go back and click install and then click one level up
    Step 5 : Flash the ROM
    Step 6 : Reboot (the first boot can take up to 2-5 minutes)

    Asus ZenUI Lollipop ROM for Redmi 2

    CAUTION before trying this rom :

    - Your Redmi 2 haveto be already Upgraded to MIUI Lollipop and your Recovery must to be TWRP 3.0 
    - Tested ON HM2014811/17 (maybe another model had more bugs)
    - This Rom is Still in BETA Tester phase.

    Bugs:

    - Camera Only Worked Every one Minute [pixelmaster]
    - Can't use internet with sim 2
    - and etc.




    How TO Install:

    1.AGAIN BEFORE INSTALL MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALREADY UPGRADED YOUR PHONE TO MIUI LOLLIPOP AND USING TWRP RECOVERY 3.0
    2.Download rom from here :

    3.Enter Recovery by Pressing VOL UP + DOWN AND POWER at the same time
    4.After you enter Recovery select Wipe and choose Swipe to Factory reset
    5.Then Press back and Select Install

    8.Then Select Reboot System


    BOOT TIME MAY TAKE 10 MINUTES..so don't Panic
